Jasmin Green

After a large number of public consultations by Birchwood Big Local across the whole of the Birchwood area. It became clear that the key need in the area was an increased in the number children’s play areas.
Along with Diamond Park, Staverton Crescent (Please see our Diamond Park page?) Jasmin Green was identified as the area most in need of facilities for young children.

In agreement with Birchwood Area Community Land Trust Limited (BACLT) and with the support of the City Council, a plan has been devised where the ownership of a portion of Jasmin Green will be transferred to BACLT.
Following the land transfer Birchwood Big Local will construct play equipment on that area.

This scheme has now moved to the point of planning the types of equipment that will be installed.
